About This Album

« Leaders of Tomorrow », maxi 4 titres (EP) numérique, sorti le 20 février 2012.

Leaders of Tomorrow

Mongst the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow
So teachers of today tell dem what dem need fi know
Mongst the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow
So teachers of today righteousness dem haffi know

Dem need a proper education
Show dem much love an’ affection
Nah talk dem ‘bout religion
Amongst dem we nah need no division
Keep dem away from temptation
Money shall not be dem only obsession
Stop your wars and put down your weapons
We haffi raise a conscious generation

Mongst the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow
So teachers of today tell dem what dem need fi know
Mongst the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow
So teachers of today righteousness dem haffi know

Oh Yeah Children, listen to the words
from the message of the messenger, the prophet of old
To this generation, the story have been told
Educate your children with your culture everyday
With a good education, You’ll reach the top
You can be what you wanna be, and there’ll be no turning back

Mongst the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow
So teachers of today tell dem what dem need fi know
Mongst the children of today are the leaders of tomorrow
So teachers of today righteousness dem haffi know

Waitin Fi A Betta Day

Ey boss of this western sportswear company
Try to forget your profit, can’t ya care about dem poor pickney
All a dem children workin’ fi ya tryin’ fi help dem poor families
Can’t ya see dem mother cryin’ ca dem sons’ bellies a still hungry

But dem still keep on smilin’ each and every day
Yes dem still keep on smilin’waitin’ fi a betta day

Governments, Babylon rulers, aren’t you ashamed of such a situation
Who do you think you are fi put I&I brothers in oppression
What would ya be doin’ today if you were born in dem poor countries
Maybe would ya be there with dem sufferin’ from dem modern slavery

But dem still keep on smilin’ each and every day
Yes dem still keep on smilin’waitin’ fi a betta day

How can we live in such a shame
Though we know it’s only the result of dem bloody shit’stem
We haffi stop complainin’ca we’ve never felt da pain dem feelin’
Life a so hard fi dem but dem still keep on smilin’

Yes dem still Keep on smilin’ each and every day
Dem still keep on smilin’ waitin’ fi a betta day

Yes we tired a dem ca we know who dem are
Tired a dem shitstem we a tired a dem wars
Ca none a dem neva a go find Inity
None a dem neva a go reach da real livity

Avó diz me por favor porque a vida é assim
Quando aqui falo de pobreza todos fazem pouco de mim
Africa migalha de pão seco, Europa bola de Berlim
Toda essa injustiça meu um dia tem de ter fim

Cause dem still keep on smilin’ each and every day
Dem still keep on smilin’waitin’ fi a betta day

Yes Dem still Keep on smilin’ each and every day
Dem still keep on smilin’ waitin’ fi a betta day

Soul Nurse

Oh Gosh I need you fi come and heal me
Be a soul nurse to me
Nah make me beg ya

Ey girl I’ve been lookin’ for you
For a long long time before I got you
Sometimes wonderin’ why me couldn’t have you
Some other even why me couldn’t kiss and caress you

A soul nurse to me
Come on and be me soul nurse
Come and heal me
A soul nurse to me
Oh Gosh won’t you come ? Come closer !
Won’t you come and heal me ?

Flood me with your sensuality
Ca me a loosin’ me emotional stability
Oh please me a in agony
So come closer to me and touch me

A soul nurse to me
Come on and be me soul nurse
Come and heal me
A soul nurse to me
Oh Gosh won’t you come ? Come closer !
Won’t you come and heal me ?
And nurse me
And gimme me therapy

If I were a pine, you would be my sap
So come on baby girl, let’s gonna have a nap
It hurts, it hurts me so bad
It really makes me feel blue when I see you sad

A soul nurse to me
Come on and be me soul nurse
Come and heal me
A soul nurse to me
Oh Gosh won’t you come ? Come closer !
Come and gimme me therapy

Soul nurse, soul nurse, soul nurse…
